In 2024, Royal Oak High School set out to improve lighting for Ravens football game nights. After evaluating retrofit LED lighting from another manufacturer, the school chose the Musco upgrade using Total Light Control—TLC for LED™ technology for its football field.
The custom-designed solution included 51 fixtures installed on four existing poles with the SportsCluster® System. It also featured ball-tracking technology for aerial sports, color-changing fixtures to illuminate the poles, and the Control-Link® control and monitoring system—delivering dependable visibility, easier operation, and a more engaging game-night experience.

Shane Holler is a Michigan native with nearly a decade of experience in the sports industry, currently serving as Musco’s field sales representative for metro Detroit and eastern Michigan. A former football player at Clarkston High School and Wayne State University, Shane brings both athletic and professional experience to his role, combining a passion for sports with deep knowledge of facility operations.
He began his career in sports event marketing, then transitioned into athletic administration, serving as an athletic director in eastern Michigan for over six years. With strong roots in the Michigan sports community, Shane is a trusted advisor and partner for clients looking to upgrade or expand their lighting systems with high quality, cost-effective LED lighting solutions
